James Wolfe sword belt c.1750

This belt is based on a mid 18th Century sword belt that would have worn during the French Indian war. A version of this can be seen in this 1767 painting of James Wolfe by by J S C Schaak The belt is 2.5 inches wide and features a large spectacle type buckle with two smaller buckles that adjust the angle of the sword frog.
