This is a Spanish Boarding Axe hand forged by Kings Forge and Muzzleloading in the USA. It is copied from an original 1733 Boarding Axe in the collection of axes held by the Florida Archaeological Research Department.
With its size it is a formidable weapon and throws great as well. It features a Polished Carbon steel head and weighs about 2 pounds. The blade length from the haft is about 4 1/4 inches and overall length from blade edge to spike tip is 9", the spike to the haft is about 3 1/2", blade width of 3 5/8 inches. The straight grained Hickory handle can be either 19" or 29.5".
As with all Kings Forge and Muzzleloading throwing tomahawks you get a lifetime warranty on the heads with normal use.
