This is a real leather sword baldric based on examples pictured in Equipements Militaires by Michel Petard. There is also an example of this baldric in a 1633 etching entitled
Le Courtisan suivant le Dernier Édit by Abraham Bosse
It features a large brass spectacle type buckle and four smaller buckles to hold the sword. The leather is hand dyed to your required colour.
It is suitable for re-enactment, theatre or LARP costumes.
Pistol bucket type holsters (like those shown in the holsters section) can be added to this baldric.
