This is our new baldric based on examples of 17th century sword baldrics worn by members of the royal court.

These fancy baldrics were usually covered in embroidered fabric and had tassels around the edges but we wanted to have something that was toned down a little for a Pirate.

we used a large 4" buckle as the main fastening on this one to give it that regal quality.
