This is a replica based on the grenade bags worn by early 18th century European armies. It is made from Leather and stitched together using waxed linen thread.

This version is fully customisable and can be customized to your particular needs. You can choose 3 different sizes of strap and can add either a bayonet or an axe frog onto it. You can also add removable brass loops on both sides of the bag for hanging tools or powder flasks etc.

There are a few options for the inside of the box too. You can leave it with no insert or you can choose to add a pocket holding a removable 20 hole wooden cartridge block. Great for filling up with paper cartridges for living history events or just for stashing wallets, mobile phones, bars of chocolate or anything else that needs to be kept out of view of the general public. Without the pocket and block it will fit around 12 of our replica grenadoe’s with room to spare.

You also have a choice of metal badges that can be attached to the flap. You can choose to have a small or large grenadier’s symbol, a crown, an anchor, a small or large Fleur-de-lis symbol or a skull and crossbones.
